In my opinion flat sealing is not good you must have seen where the clips are there a little amount has been pressed and all other places the lid has just touched the rubber sealing that means the sealing is not perfect what was intended to perform this is a design flaw
It should have been the grove for fixing gasket should have been in the glass with a grove and there should have been little projection according to the grove made in the glass when you put the clips all around the gasket is pressed by the lid projected surface and that makes perfect sealing
I thought it would be a little big in length but it is good in width, I ordered the 700 ml green and it has come exactly shown in the picture army green matte finishing and I gifted it to my special person and he liked it very much. I also got the name customized on it, it also looks great. Thanks Borosil.
